The students at International School Leona Štuklja Maribor demonstrated remarkable creativity and practical skills in their Design Technology projects. Their work spanned a diverse range of hands-on creations that showcased both their technical abilities and artistic expression.
In the workshop, students constructed various functional items including a boat and a car, demonstrating their understanding of basic engineering principles. They also created practical items like a utility box and a plant name holder, showing their ability to combine functionality with design.
Perhaps most impressive was their artistic expression through seven unique stories crafted in plasticine. This medium allowed them to bring their imagination to life in three-dimensional form, combining storytelling with sculptural art. The use of plasticine demonstrated their ability to work with malleable materials while expressing their creative narratives.
Through these projects, the students developed valuable skills in planning, design, construction, and creative expression – all essential elements of Design Technology education.
